I tried the cauliflower dish which was tasty, but I feel it would be better with bread on the side rather than just the cooked cauliflower. The mayo was delicious. My companion had the bread with oil and balsamic, which was good but the bread was more like thick, cut brown and white slices instead of crusty ciabatta. Overall, the menu only offers a vegan main option, a sweet potato and chickpea curry with rice and flatbread that was similar to what you could find in any other pub. The dessert options were limited to sorbet or nothing. Unfortunately, they do not offer dairy-free milk for drinks.
There are several vegan appetizers/starters available at this restaurant, such as bread with oil and vinegar, hummus with crudités and tortilla chips, and spicy cauliflower with sriracha vegan mayo. I opted for the cauliflower, which was tasty but would have been better if roasted instead of simply boiled. The mayo was really delicious. My companion had the bread with oil and balsamic, which was good, but the bread was served in thick cut brown and white sticks instead of a crusty ciabatta. Overall, the restaurant is a good option for vegans, with the exception of a salad, sweet potato and chickpea curry with rice and flatbread. The curry was decent but nothing particularly special. For dessert, there is sorbet or nothing available, and there are no dairy-free milk options for drinks.
