La Bastide - Hyères

We regularly go there as this is nice and the place is next to the sea. we had good meals, house steaks and vegan lemon tart. the staff was very friendly.

Stay for a night before the flight to home, beautiful looking place with very friendly and helpful staff. room was very shaded with unusual bambus tube wall covering, bathroom was tiny and shower a bit naff flowing blue lacquered.) tw and receiver box looked like they were. attached to the wall by a ten-year TV screen were smaller than my laptop and someone pulled a robot on the wall.) the beds were clean and the bed was comfortable. Finally, the room was very loud, our were right above the kitchen, but the noise from there later ended in the evening, but the walls are paper-thin so that other guests come and walk easy to hear and the double glazed window was little to suppress any noise from the outside. we ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a very good meal, place seemed popular among the natives, which is always a good sign.

We'd gone ashore for provisions decided to stay for lunch. We chose La Bastide as we liked the look of the menu the restaurant was very busy with a good atmosphere. We just had a main course each a bottle of rose....I had a superb sea bass my husband a very good spaghetti vongole. The meal was very reasonably priced.

Very good food, atmosphere, outside seating in front of the sea. Inside seating by cheminee, lunch and diners. Also has 11 hotel rooms. Very welcoming and nice staff and owners. Good value price/quality/quantity. Family, friend, business, solo, ...

Une belle fin de semaine, réussie pour toute la famille. Arrivés à 19:30, servis très rapidement, des plats de poissons et de viande, beaux, bons, très copieux et des desserts sympa ! Une mention spéciale à la verrine citron/basilic: servi dans un pot de confiture! Super soirée.
