Our waiter was a bit pushy about upselling, but the food was great! Souvlaki and fries were both completely free of gluten. $210 for mains and 2 rounds of drinks for 4 people. It was one of the few in the area that had open seats, but on a busy day get reservations!!
Staff was pretty knowledgeable and pointed out which items could be GF. Most meat and seafood dishes and many appetizers were available to me. I ordered the rib eye, and my potatoes were pan-fried on one side. Food was very tasty.
No GF menu but many non-gluten containing menu items with substitutions possible. Our server asked about gluten allergy based on our order so there is some awareness. Unsure if fryer is dedicated. Beware: the Santorini salad contains croutons.
Great experience! They understood gluten free and celiac. The menu wasn’t marked, but the waiter could tell me what was GF. I ordered the chicken slouvaki and it was incredible. Probably the best I had. It was made with juicy chicken breast (instead of the fatty chicken found at the cheaper places) and was reasonably priced. It came with veggies on the side. The greek salad was also good. Didn’t love the fava but I think I’m just more of a hummus fan. I felt safe and the service was great. They said that nothing with gluten even goes on the grill! It was also by far the prettiest restaurant we ate at with the best view of the sunset! They are always super busy, so make a reservation! It is known to be one of the best restaurants in Oia, and it definitely lived up to that!
