Aunt Bea's Bbq Express - Independence

Yummy! Everything we have tried. Recently realized they do breakfast. Can't wait to try it. Parking lot was packed and saw cop cars... so yeah!! We will try it soon!

Searched for BBQ all week. Most places around us were open only Thursday to Sunday. That was a nice surprise. Food was excellent, service fast and accommodating. Recommend this BBQ Stop.

A true locals place, we used the drive through on a road trip and LOVED the diner style fare. BF got the steak sandwich plate, which came with 2 sides and steak sauce. I thought the price was right! We didn't know it came with sides or we would have ordered more. The green beans were perfection! I got a BBQ sandwich and it was great, slaw and sauce already mixed in, absolutely delicious. The true star was the ice cream sundae, BF wished he got one for himself. We almost stopped at the Bea's in Galax for more and we'll definitely be back next time.

Aunt Bea?s was recommended to us by the front desk lady at our hotel, was not disappointed at all. We had ice cream and fries. The banana split I had was very delicious and worth the money, my wife said the fries were very good (she judges places by the fries: and her ice cream cone was perfect. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. I would say this is a local hotspot and right across the street from the local school.
