Eiteljorg Museum Cafe - Indianapolis

The restaurant is housed in a stunning building situated in a fantastic location. The exhibits were impressive and highly informative, particularly the special exhibit on Westerns, which was excellent. Additionally, there was a delightful free summer concert on the patio that added to the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful time.

I had a fantastic day! The "Reel West" exhibit was impressive, and the entire museum is truly special. We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the terrace, and I must say, the staff there are incredibly kind.

Loved the Native American exhibit. Very clean and well thought out Cafe has delicious food and a great patio along the riverwalk to dine at.

There are beautiful paining sand sculptures at the museum. They also have many very nice pieces of turquoise jewelry in the gift shop for purchase. The Rail displays at Christmas time are a sight not to be missed.

I visited in the fall of 2002, and I still remember what a wonderful experience the Eiteljorg Museum was. The beautiful collection of Western art on the first floor and the galleries featuring the impressive variety of Native American artifacts on the upper level were truly captivating. I also enjoyed the temporary exhibit that provided an overview of missionary schools. I can’t wait to return!
