The surroundings were fantastic. Clean, bright, the staff was very friendly and prompt. Easy to navigate menu. Chicago's deep plate pizza was the best I had and ironic I just came back from Chicago. Very recommended. The prices are good. Good selection of drinks. Near Kinnick Stadium and Carver Arena.

We're from Missouri. We came here for lunch, and we were blown away from the food. Service was also amazing, they were super nice. We had the Bruschetta as an appetizer and oh my... It was delicious. With fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and crunchy bread it was so light and tasty. Our pizza was the Chicken Alfredo Flying Tomato Style. We never had a pizza as good as these. We brought our remains back to Missouri and our friends were blown away.

We visit the city and read the reviews so wanted to try this place. I love pizza and my husband tolerate it because he loves me. He also enjoyed it! This pizza was so good. The ingredients seemed fresh compared to so many places. Our server was also very sweet! Also I am sensitive to MSG and called for to see if they use it in their sauce and not. If we don't live so far, this would be a regular place for us, so I hope our journeys will bring us back!

The Bruschetta is absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed one of the spring cocktails, and it was very good. And the flying tomatoes, 1/2 Union Jack, 1/2 North Sider was fantastic as always. Pig and pen have the best pizza in the whole area. We had a special need child with us, and our server took care of us to ensure that all our needs were met very quickly

Wig and Pen consistently wins prizes for the best pizza in the area, and this visit was no exception. I was dubious about getting my wife in and out of the building in her wheelchair, but it was surprisingly easy for me. The staff seemed off their usual stride this visit, but they still did a good job.
