Norwood Inn Suites Columbus

This by far is the worst hotel I 've ever stayed at. If i could leave a 0 star i would. I booked through my timeshare a king suite. Went to check in, got my room and walked there. Receptionist advised there were doors that I could use closer to my room. I went to room, bed was a full size, tv did not work, there was no remote, the pictures online is nothing compared to those rooms and the filth that they really are, hair on the tub walls, housekeeping left their dirty towels in the floor of the bathroom, there was a door foe maybe an adjoining room? A desk pushed up against it and something red on the wall which may have been blood, no hot water for shower, the pool wasnt even open for use. I called front desk and they sent someone which offered an upgraded room. I looked at the room, all seemed ok. We went for dinner and came back, used the other door like was offered and 5 people smoking meth outside the door, a rat trap used to prop the door open, got to our room and heard nothing but yelling and doora banging all night. We got up early and left. I called later in the day to speak to the manager and the man that answered the phone was more Tham rude. I asked for a manager right away and he wanted to know why before he transferred. I stated I didn 't see the point in telling everything to him to have to turn around and tell the manager. He wouldn 't have it. I tried telling him what was going on, he continued to interrupt me, he continued to stated I was upgraded at no charge. And then stated the manager was busy and if I wanted to email I could, he would reply if he had a chance. PEOPLE RUN!!!! This place wouldn 't be worth staying at if they allowed me to do so for free.

The fella on reception was friendly enough and helpful. Room is clean and warm. Happy with that.The shower head is not firmly connected to the wall and water pressure is very low.Also, there is an odd policy that guests can't take anything from the breakfast room to their own rooms. I was present when a guest was stopped from taking an open juice from the brekky room to her room. It seems an odd choice to me.I understand that guests may make a mess in their rooms, but surely that is a risk with every guest from any range of possible spillages. Why bother a guest trying to take a juice back to her room? Just creates a negative experience unnecessarily.Overall though, I'm very happy with the room and service for the price point.

Worse possible experience possible dealing with the management of this so called establishment. I would warn anyone interested in booking with this place. Even though it's cheaper, these people are not ethical and would not be trusted to assist in any concern you may have. Plenty of other cheaper places in the area you can use

After getting to our room we saw that we did not get queen size bed like we had requested they were full size beds we went down to the front desk asked for a queen size bed 2 times! We never got queen size apparently they don't have any... First room smelled of smoke actually the whole place smelled bad!! Needs lots of updates. Showered with coldish water shower is still the old metal shower. Would never stay again!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. Found a bed bug crawling up the side of the bed, I killed it and went back to sleep (very stupid of me). Woke up with bed bug bites all over my right arm. Key card wouldn’t work, suspicious characters hang around the front and back. Entrance reeked of cigarettes, there was strange smell as soon as you walked in, hallways smelt of bleach, sheets and pillows smelt unwashed, dirty towels in the bathroom, toilet paper was not provided with my room. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE!Noteworthy details: 2 star for service because the receptionist was nice
