I would give this place zero stars if possible. Today, at the Marina Bay location, I ordered a coffee, a chestnut praline coffee, and a cinnamon coffee cake. When I asked the staff for more milk for my coffee, they refused my request, stating that they could only provide extra hot water and that no other customers had asked for milk. It was a simple request, so I’m not sure why they couldn’t accommodate me. Instead of addressing my need, they offered me something entirely different. The communication skills of the staff need a lot of improvement.
The woman at the drive-thru that day was incredibly friendly. She made sure to ask about my order and get my thoughts on whether it was a good combination. Then, she suggested a different combo that she personally loves, which was quite similar to mine. Her customer service was exceptional, and she really enhanced my overall experience.
I've been ordering from this restaurant for years and have always appreciated the excellent service. However, in recent months, I've experienced delayed orders and often receive incomplete or missing items, despite asking them to double-check. Charging $3.55 for a packet of instant oatmeal without any toppings feels excessive, especially considering how much we spend on coffee. It's quite frustrating.
To be honest, this is one of the slowest Starbucks locations I've ever been to. While the drinks are consistently well-prepared, if you're in a rush, you should brace yourself for a lengthy wait.
