Mcdonald's Restaurants - Ipswich

We arrived and were greeted which is a first for a McDonald’s for me! It was busy in side and the service was pretty quick to be fair. Food was brought to to table and condiments were given too. The dining lady also gave our children balloons which was lovely. Did hear another customer moaning about a 5 minute wait for an apple pie but surely that’s still fast? Some people are lazy and can’t cook I guess. Overall a good experience and I will be going back.

This is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever stepped foot in. Appalling service, I think I aged while waiting for a cheeseburger it took so long, it took just as long to order it at the till as I wanted to pay cash! It’s frustrating watching a bunch of incompetent people running it, the shift Manager, Will, couldn’t have cared less. I won’t be visiting again.

This McDonald's has had a bit of a revamp since my last visit. Lunchtimes are busy but staff cope well and tables are quickly cleared. Food and drink always good. Please do something about Just eat/Deliveroo drivers parking in disabled bays.

Called in yesterday evening around d 18.30 for a quick bite to eat,it was quite busy but found a table,had to wipe it cos it was dirty as was the floor but needs must.the wife ordered the food and we were waiting over 20 minutes for our food which is not good enough.have to say the food was fine but the whole experience was pretty rubbish.they seem to be more interested in the vast amount of delivery drivers getting g there orders first.i will not be visiting this outlet again.

I know McDonald's isn't necessarily expected to be five star service, but my god this restaurant was terrible. I dropped in last minute on a Sunday to pick up a quick dinner to find the place was rammed full of teenagers hanging around inside and out. That should have been my first clue to give up and go as it was exceptionally busy which understablly isn't their fault. However, I ordered food to go and stood out of the way only to be swamped by aggressive deliveroo drivers pushing to the front and demanding their orders from the staff. I could see all around me that tables were cluttered with litter and left unclean with staff not really taking direction on essential tasks that needed to be fulfilled. After a fifteen minute wait I received my food and came straight home which is a five minute drive away. The food was stone cold and the drink was just carbonated water with no syrup mixed in, the cup was only half full and there was no straw which would have been a nightmare if I'd have needed one. Overall, the worst service, not at all welcoming and seems to be focussed more on takeaway delivery services than customers actually intending to visit the restaurant. Definitely wouldn't be visiting here again and has infact put me off McDonalds now for a long time.
