Fresh Off The Grid - Island of Hawaii

So sad this was closed until OCTOBER 2023? We really wanted to go!! Hopefully they will be back soon as posted...

Cute little local services and run place to get locally made, grown and fresh food. We had the pulled pork, ahi salad, papaya and fresh coconut. The drill a hoe on the coconut then when you are done drinking it they cut it in half for you. We had the poke nachos last year and it was so good. It is a must to get the coconut especially if you have never had one. We spoke to another couple and they were from Minnesota and were asking if they should get one because they've never tasted a coconut I said YES get one! I like that they have plenary of seating to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Hawaii.

This is by far our favorite place on the whole big island! Wow! Beautiful views! The freshest of fruit. Wonderful people that are friendly and welcoming. Tummy treats. There is truly nothing not to love about this place.

What a great place! We stopped right after our hike to the bottom of the Pololū valley, the toasted coconut gelato and the Kailua pork really hit the spot! Thank you for the great service and such a serene spot to enjoy time.

The location and the food at Fresh Off The Grid were both amazing. I went back and ordered five times, and I'm not sure I've ever done that before! The day we went the breeze was lovely, music was playing, and we had enough sun that the ice cream was racing me to get to my hand. I would recommend trying anything that they make, although it was the pork nachos that really floored us. Delicious!
