The Ponds Edge Pub Eatery - Island Pond

A nice place in a pretty location. The staff was very supere and the selections on the menu went above standard bar food. My group had a steak and scallop special, the daily fish fry and a few burgers...all went down without a complaint. We started the meal with a blueberry bbq chicken wing, which was a unique treat.Fair priced, so give them a try .

Very hospitable and the food was great. Juicy burger, tasty cheese steak, and awesome fries. I really enjoyed the shandy the waitress recommended (and was nice enough to offer me a taste of). It was a very pleasant stop on our trip.

Had the whole belly clams. They were excellent. Fresh, nice coating that did not take away from the flavor. Fries were crispy and piping hot. My wife had cold lobster roll it was packed with meat and no fillers like lettuce. The roll was fresh and had great flavor that complimented the lobster. Great meal, reasonable price.

Not good. Bland and greasy. I had the French onion soup which lacked flavor and was WAY too salty and the fish and chips. The fish had a weird batter. Almost like bread crumbs or something. Very little flavor and very very greasy. My stomach was a mess for 2 days after eating here. Very plain and limited menu. I did like the small town atmosphere and the waitress was very nice. Kinda pricey for the quality of the food.

Had our RV at a seasonal campground near by last year and we ate here 10 to 12 times. My family of 5 probably tried everything on the menu and we were never disappointed. Great burgers and seafood. Reasonable prices and a nice quaint small town vibe. Service could be a bit slow at times and they don't take AMEX which annoys me.
