We ate here once, but it can be windy (although they can eat inside) better to go down the hill to eat. but on a wind-free day this is a great place to sit and watch how the world passes. all very pleasant. this year fast service. clean loos!
After we finally get the whole family on the mountain, we were really disappointed at eating. I have 11.50 charged for pasta and butter for the children I have actually found in the price. eating was not great at all. I can't blame the service, the whole staff was nice, but I'm not used to pushing my way into a waiting queue for eating and that's what happened to our children when they were in for eating. they look great and would be better with little group. not recommended for larger families.
We had a couple of very nice lunches here. Staff were very friendly and prices pretty much the same as everywhere else.
Le Schuss is the one mountain restaurant in Isola 2000 that is open during the summer season. It can be accessed by hiking up a variety of paths (winter pistes) from the valley below, or for the less energetic via the Mercantour telecabine and a...gentle walk of about 400 meters down a loose gravel track, which again serves as a piste during winter. By whichever method you get there, the views from the balcony over the Isola valley are worth it, and although we booked a table for lunch (mid-August), it wasn't necessary. The summer menu is not hugely extensive: three salads, three meat dishes and a selection of desserts. Within our group of three, we chose from the salad menu and were pleased with our plates in terms of quality, quantity and presentation. There were certainly no complaints, nor any hesitation in going for a dessert! Service was good, although the restaurant was not hugely busy, but in sum it made for a very pleasant lunch under deep blue autumn skies, don't forget to wear sunblock though! Next time, it would be interesting to compare during the winter ski season.
