Viva Taqueria And Cantina - Ithaca

Absolutely loved this place! Very recommended and definitely back. Great Mexican food, drinks, beer taps and everywhere in the atmosphere, including outdoor food, which is still my preference. And everything at a very reasonable price!

Good quality food with friendly really efficient service. Inside, outside, or a whole line, just to get out. In the center of Ithaca for the vibe of crispy take care of the earth, where tacos are not the only things that are crispy.

When returning to Ithaca post-graduation, Viva was the first spot my husband and I had to hit up. I feared that my memory of their nachos were better than they would be upon returning but I was wrong! The Macho Nachos were, and still are, the best nachos I have ever had. It is THE item to get here. Don't leave without ordering it. They also have vegan nachos, which I haven't tried, but they sounded delicious! I also got The Purist margarita and it was delicious. Our waiter recommended it as something less sweet and it totally hit the mark. The service was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was helpful in guiding our choices, super friendly, and attentive to checking in on us. Viva is my favorite restaurant in Ithaca and I cannot recommend those nachos enough!

Where do I begin.... They actually give you the same amount of toppings for your nachos, along with plenty of cheese. The burritos will fill u up for an amazing price of about 9 bucks. Also, the tacos are a great side dish. 10/10.

Nicely decorative..Mexican restaurant playing Whitney Houston and 80s music. Nacho chips tasted a bit stale . Imitation guacamole. I ordered the soft tacos with shredded chicken. It was good?had a little nice kick to it.. Americanized but what do I expect in a little college town? ?
