Tijuana Authentic Mexican - Jackson

My fellow worker and I ate last night. we found the place too old, but clean and acceptable. the food itself was decent. I ordered a cemita (based on a sandwich) and my associate a chimichanga. for the price we found that the portion sizes especially for chimichanga are less than satisfactory. the staff and the service were definitiw a low point for this place. it was much less professional and bordered on rude. they also seemed really disorganized. two more critiks for this place: no one got chips. we asked, but they never came. I mentioned that we had to ask in the register and those who said we had to ask. what we did. we did. salsa was brought. it was lava hot. Finally, the article I ordered was $10.50 in the menu without other options. it ranked in register as 12.50 I tried to show the problem. I went ahead and paid instead of continuing the argument. Is that authentic? it's not enough to get me back.

The good: Service was fast and very friendly, and always attentive. We were in at lunchtime and it was reasonably crowded and we never felt ignored.The less good: everything lacked flavor. The mole, the frijoles, the guac, the pico. The salsa had a nice heat, but not much taste. Things that I'd expect to have big, bold flavors didn't. I was particularly disappointed in the guac, which basically seemed to be mashed avocado with a tiny bit of cilantro.Disappointing.

Went here with a friend last week. Literally the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I’m almost positive the food they served us was a few days old as it came rapidly and cold. We ordered a shrimp quesadilla for one of the entrees, and most of the shrimp still had their shell on. Would rather starve than eat here again.

This place made me want to leave even before I was served. The prices of the meals rival merry piglets on main but is less food and less quality. We walked in and they were doing deep clean projects and sat us in a corner then sat two men across from us at a table but they sat facing us the whole time didn’t order, the server brought their food out. Super sketchy, the server didn’t see us till we got up to check out.
