Smitty's Smoke House - Jasper

Got the 3 meat combo plate with chicken, turkey and brisket. The turkey and brisket eere really good and moist, chicken was good but just a little dry. It is a good place for bbq.Food: 4/5

I’m quite fond of BBQ so I was excited to try Smitty’s. There is something on their menu for most people. Our table ordered sliced lean brisket, smoked turkey, and smoked sausage as meats. Our sides were green beans (best I’ve ever had), potato salad, dirty rice, and roasted potatoes. The green beans and roasted potatoes were great. The other sides were good. We ate inside at 6:00 pm. I’m not sure if it was the time or not, but the brisket was very dry. The flavor was okay, but it was just too dry.We ordered at the counter and there was no wait for our food.I’m hoping this is an isolated incident so I will give it another shot if I’m in the area.Parking: Plenty of convenient parking.

I ordered 2 baked potatoes. 1 loaded and to many green onions,no bacon bits,sour cream and cheese was in plate.2nd baked potato was butter only and none was on it. For $11.58 was A waste of money. Never had this to happen ?Food: 1/5

Food is decent but we went in 30 minutes before closing and they said they had just thrown a big batch of corn casserole away. If they are going to throw it away why not donate to a senior center??Food: 4/5

Super friendly staff. Maybe the best loaded baked potato (with chopped brisket) I've ever had. Chopped sandwich, mac and potato salad also great.Food: 5/5
