Visited on the recommendation of a friend, the broth seemed less flavorful, the radish was roughly chopped and there was a lack of effort put into the dish overall, so there wasn't anything particularly outstanding about the taste. However, the fish served as a side dish was delicious and I ended up asking for multiple refills. It was probably the best part of the meal. The open kitchen allowed us to see and hear the chef working, but the sole proprietor seemed overwhelmed and distracted by the backlog of orders, making the dining experience uncomfortable. The anchovy tempura was a delicacy. We originally ordered a tasting portion, but ended up ordering more.
This restaurant is phenomenal. The spicy seafood stew was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind even though they were busy. And don't forget to order the fried shrimp as a side dish!
The pictures of the store front is different in some other reviews. Not sure why but just know that I’ve been here 2 times and ate way too much. The food is amazing here. They have a spicy fish banchan which goes perfectly with rice. The anchovy soup is my favorite. The fried anchovy can easily be addictive if you like fish. The stir-fried anchovy also delicious. The taste of eating here is worth way more than the price you pay. Will be back again.
Refreshing clear fish soup with a clean taste. I recommend it for those who enjoy the refreshing broth. Adding minced garlic and green chili peppers on the table enhances the flavor even more.
