The Theatercafe in Jena is not only a popular meeting place for creatives, but also a starting point for dancing-loving night-sweepers. The restaurant is charming and lovingly furnished and there is still a cozy outdoor sitting outside the door. The service on the self-service strut is great and the prices also fit.

For over 10 years I've known the Theatercfé. If I'm in a family visit in Jena, here's my living room. An ambience in which you feel comfortable and very nice staff. And you can eat well there. The location opposite Schiller's garden house is simply fantastic. See you next time.

Very nice atmosphere, quiet location. Very nice operation. The chairs outside are uncomfortable for bigger people and you might write on the iced tea that it is fruit tea. Then the disappointment is not so big. I can't evaluate the food because we didn't try anything.

All I can do is lie to everyone. The theatre café has always been one of the most pleasant addresses in Jena. Very tasty house lemonades, good cafe, also regional wines and a great ambience.
