Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Jenison

Stopped in for lunch today, we weren't disappointed! Everything was fresh made and delicious, staff were very friendly and welcoming for our first visit and finding the best items on the menu.

Honestly some of the worst barbeque I 've had in michigan. First time trying it, so I did a 3 meat tray for $20. With my choices, I got Jalapeño cheddar sausage (4 small slices), chicken (4 small slices), and ribs (2 VERY small ribs). Sausage was the best out of everything, and that wasn 't even very good. The chicken was dry, and the ribs even more so. The 3 sides I got (I wanted fries but they didn 't have any) were the mac and cheese which is bland and overcooked, texas toast which was just grocery store white bread soaked in butter and put on a griddle for 2 seconds, and the baked beans which are basically Bush 's Baked Beans from a can if not exactly that. Sorry Dickey 's, but there are so many better barbeque places around that don 't charge as much, give you way more food, and also are just much better in general

Dickeys Jenison. Out of sour creme, out of ice, Baked potato cold, said loaded but no cheese, the place was dirty, dirty clean up rag left by the condoments. Told mgr. Said he would take care of it immediately. Then proceded to count money by the cash register and left, Told the counter help one said she was asked to take care of it but had not got there yet, Said the manager had to leave to get chicken wings they were out of too. At that rate you will not be open very long.

I don’t know what’s wrong with this place. Three times I’ve been and the meat they give is terrible. Everytime I go it’s like they give me the gross leftovers or something. Not to mention the fries are always soggy… Don’t come here if you acually want good food, it’s now worth the risk. If your ok with spending 13$ on some mediocre cold sandwich than sure eat here.

Awesome food and good price. Wish there were some back in the Chicago suburbs! Will go back?
