Fantastic flavor! Staff is very friendly and seem to be having a good time

Had high hopes for Pollo Norte based on the reviews. Got carry out on a Friday night. I was underwhelmed. I wouldn’t say anything was bad, but I wouldn’t make it a priority to go back (although the patio looks like a nice place for a dinner in the summer). Our chicken breast was pretty dry and so were the tortillas. The salsa, beans, rice were all so so. Maybe the food is better fresh when you eat it there.

If you like rotisserie chicken in whole, half or quarter quantities and you like Mexican food, then you really should check out Pollo Norte. Very tasty, little spendy, lovely location with an incredible patio for the warmer northwest days. Oh yeah, they make everything fresh, from their salads to salsas.

Best Mexican food in Portland. Also dedicated Gluten Free, so celiac safe!

Excellent service. Good beers on tap and chill music. Outdoor space is a plus.
