Taste Tickler - Jennings Lodge

If you don’t know about Taste Tickler, now you do. Insanely delicious sandwiches can’t go wrong with the Famous Tickler (ham, salami pepperoni). The bread is perfectly cooked. The proportions are immaculate. And the flavors are outstanding, plus there are lots of customization options so you can get whatever tickles your fancy (pun intended). Staff is very nice and helpful. Not tons of room for seating, but the sandwich always travels well and tastes delicious after a short trek.

They still are my favorite sandwich shop to go to for a sub sandwich. Their prices continue to go up. This time our 14 sub was over $15 a piece. I still love their sandwiches and will probably still go there but this diminishes the enjoyment.

I'm not even a sandwich person... or at least I wasn't, until I moved to the neighborhood and my roommate immediately recommended Taste Tickler. They have such a great variety of subs, the quality is always stellar and it's one of the cheapest meals on Broadway! The turkey avocado is perfect for hiking and ski days I almost always pick one up the night before I'm heading to the mountains. They also offer some hot subs and I can't wait to try more. My friend got the kimchi chicken on our last ski day and I was jealous for the entire meal.

Wow, what a sandwich spot. I'm so.glad somebody turned us on to it. The pepper chicken sandwich was bomb!
