Kuro Katsu Tei - Kagoshima

Try the aged black pork cutlet. It was the best pork cutlet I have ever had.

One of the best katsu dishes we've tried. The meat was succulent and the crispy katsu batter was really amazing. Would definitely recommend to drop by if you're near the area.

Our first time to Kagoshima and aimed for trying the famous black pork. Kuro Katsu Tei was just a walk away from the Kagoshima Chuo station and offers lunch menu with pretty good value, and that's what we were looking for. The lunch set was deep fried pork cutlet serving with assorted seasonings, pork miso soup, unlimited rice and salad (Japanese style dressing). The service was very nice and the pork was juicy and naturally sweet. The unlimited rice and salad dual have fed me just well. Will definitely revisit when we visit the area next time.

Really great katsu shop. We got the loin and fillet, which were both top-notch. Wish I could eat it weekly!

The best かつ定食 I've ever had. I highly recommend it when in Kagoshima.
