Cholos Peruvian Restaurant - Kaleen

For Peruvian customers, it is important to note that it can be difficult to find a restaurant that replicates the exact taste of Peruvian food from back home, especially in a country with a small Peruvian community like Australia. Ingredients can be hard to source and expensive. However, despite these challenges, I believe you will still enjoy your dining experience here. While it may not be identical to home, some dishes come very close, which is impressive given the distance. Cholos surpasses the Peruvian restaurants I have visited in Barcelona, Sydney, Brisbane, and Kuala Lumpur. I highly recommend it.

The waitress was friendly and helpful. We ordered the special the parillada. Oh my good ness it was wonderful!

We visited last night for our son's 21st. It was surprisingly busy for a public holiday in Canberra right in the middle of the Christmas/New Year Break. We felt for the waitress. She was the only one serving behind the bar, taking orders and serving the food. The upside to this, is that it forced us to relax and soak in the atmosphere of the evening. The food was to die for; fresh, tasty and authentic.

Fui ao restaurante com meu marido na semana passada e nós adoramos!O ceviche é fantástico, principalmente se você é do tipo que curte comidas apimentadas.Pedimos também uma Parrillada Platter, uma tábua de carnes assadas e aipim (mandioca) frito.Adorei os drinks também. Pedi um pisco morado, que é batido com canela e servido em um copo com açúcar na borda. Uma delícia!Os atendestes foram atenciosos e a comida não demorou a ser servida.

This place came highly recommended by a work mate. He mentioned that you can go there and have a banquet that consists of nothing but meat. I was let down when we arrived. The banquet was obviously a thing of the past. The meal we ended up with wasn't to bad and you could try different beers which was a bonus. Especially when it was 6 different beers for $30. It was a good night but I have now been there and probably won't go back. I would recommend it to everyone just so that you can say you have experienced Peruvian food and beer.
