These guys offered their paella at the Winter Wonderland event in Valencia. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken and sausage was so good, I went back again and again... and again. After plate #4 I started to feel a bit self-conscious but I justified it by reasoning that I wasn't an out of control glutton, taking advantage of a situation. No. No. No. I was an admiring patron eagerly enjoying a fifth sample... just in case I ever need to order catering for a large event. Yeah, we'll go with that.

I used to live in London where I could go weekly for a delicious paella, street food style. Since I've been back in LA, I had a craving for paella.Wow, I attended an event for Breast Cancer Awareness, 50 Shades of Pink, and the paella served by Savory Roads Catering is simply outstanding!The rice was cooked perfectly, great bite and not mushy. The flavors were so spot on. The Mixta Paella Shrimp with Chorizo and Chicken as spot on in flavor. I couldn't stop eating and had to go for seconds and thirds.I believe Chef Roger and Chef Paul were serving us this evening and they had such great attitudes and service, it only heightened the delicious taste of the food knowing that it was prepared by such nice gentleman.I can't recommend this place enough, it makes me want to through a party just so I can have more paella and share with family and friends!

The Savory Roads team did an amazing job catering our wedding last weekend 10/10 would recommend! The paella itself was absolutely delicious we had the classic version plus a smaller pan of the mushroom vegetarian option and both were amazing. The setup is just incredible and will be a focal point of any event. The beautiful, giant paella pans will draw a crowd for sure. BUT they made sure to work around our ceremony schedule with their cooking as to not distract. Communication was clear and consistent from the first time we reached out to them all the way through the event. Our event was further away than their typical LA area event and they made it happen for us for a super reasonable travel fee. Overall we couldn't be happier with Savory Roads. Roger and Paul are great at what they do. All our guests were raving about the paella and we're already wondering what other kind of events we can use them for.

Just wow. Working with Savory Roads for paella catering at my DTLA wedding was wonderful from start to finish. Chef Roger was lovely and communicative. You can easily tell that he cares deeply about the excellence and authenticity of his craft. Our venue Valentine DTLA has stringent requirements for all food vendors and Chef Roger diligently met them all. On the big day, our guests were simply dazzled by the ginormous vats of beautifully presented seafood paella. Guests just kept coming back again for third and fourth helpings. At the end of the night, Roger gave our coordinator a huge portion of leftover paella for us to take home and enjoy for DAYS after our wedding. Please do yourself a favor and book him for your next event!
