The interior is really nice and well-lit, even with most natural light blocked out. The place itself is so cool and a very good experience. The server we got was obnoxious in his demeanor and at times condescending as well. I 've never had to ask two separate questions 'Do you guys have a restroom? ' 'Yeah. ' '...Where is it? ' 'Back there. ' to figure out where a restroom is.
This place never disappoints! I like the shrimp saag spicy.
Food was great, portions were huge- we split two dishes and had a good amount left over. I liked the colors of the decor.
The small salad, which consisted of iceberg lettuce, cucumber, and tomato, was fine with the lemon. After reading a previous review, I found out that the bread is also not vegan. This place might be suitable for vegetarians, but it would be quite challenging for vegans, especially when they can't provide honest or helpful information about options. I would have been happier just eating the salad rather than inadvertently ordering a non-vegan dish. I will not be returning.
The vegan veggie samosas were fantastic! The waiter was knowledgeable about which dishes were vegan, which was a nice touch. I had hoped to try the baingan bharta, but it contained milk (at least at this restaurant). Unfortunately, there were only four vegan options available: okra, dal, chana aloo, and gobi keema, but all the bread included milk. I ordered the chana aloo, and while it was good, it wasn't particularly impressive.
