Lokal Nad Stromovkou - Karlin

During my trip to Prague, I discovered a fun fact: in every establishment, the bartenders who poured the beer were always cheerful and laid-back. However, the waitstaff didn't always have the same disposition. This restaurant was a perfect example, as our server seemed quite nervous at first. Thankfully, he relaxed as the meal went on. The restaurant had a laid-back atmosphere and was clearly popular with both locals and tourists. We visited for lunch and tried the specials, which included a vegetable and egg soup with beef and sausage sauce and dumplings, as well as schnitzels with potatoes. The food was delicious, hearty, and perfect for a rainy, windy day.

The tank Pilsner at this Lokál is excellent, just like in other locations. I had the chicken breast with mushroom seasoning and homemade pie, both delicious. The service was pleasant. The only thing that surprised me were the bathrooms, which were a bit lower in quality and could use some renovation.

Another one of the Czech cuisine-focused restaurants in the Ambiente group. We were drawn to this establishment by the traditional carnival butchery overseen by František Kšáňa. The beer is practically on the same level as at Lokál u bílé kuželky, which is top-notch, and as for the meat? I am at a loss for words to describe how incredibly delicious it was! Thank you Lokál, and we hope for a repeat visit no later than a year from now!

I was here on the beer meeting with Lukáš Svoboda and I really enjoyed this. The pub is on nice place and everything working on 100%. I had couple of Pilsners and sausages.

Jako uz klasicky kazda restaurace z retezce Ambiente, tak i tato je skvela. Koncept Lokal restauraci se mi velice libi. Najdete zde typicky ceska hospodska jidla, ale pripravene na perfektni urovni. Vyzkousel jsem tady utopence, varianci parku s vybornym krenem, smazeny syr (doporucuji! , tatarak a mnoho dalsiho. Zatim jsem nenarazil na nic, co by mi nechutnalo. Pokud si chcete na zaver uzit, tak doporucuji polarkovy dost s jahodami a slehackou.. : O jedno nizsi hodnoceni davam proto, protoze se tady neda vuuubec zaparkovat, takze doporucuji dojet MHD nebo pesky.. Vyplati se take dat rezervaci, min. den predem. Prostredi je super a obsluha velice prijemna.
