After a few minutes the person behind the counter hollered for us to come and get our order. We noticed that the other tables that were seated, their trays were brought to them and after a while we realized that they were family, Mostly middle schoolers and high schoolers. My cheeseburger was over seasoned and just mediocre. The chicken sandwich tasted very strange and disgusting like cardboard. When we asked to speak to the person at the counter they hollered across the restaurant and said I'm too busy even though there is only 3 tables seated. First time and never again.
Very friendly service. The Funnel cake filled 2 of us up and was good haha. There's not many places with funnels cakes in the katy area. We were given mini burgers as samples, they were good. We were too full to order more but we'll come back again for the real ones next time! :
Delicious, made to order food. Kids loved the fruit smoothies. Great service, we will be back!
Fresh, delicious food. Plenty of options. Fuddruckers has left the Katy area. One of the things I loved about Fuddruckers was their fresh hamburger buns. Flappy has filled this void with delicious hamburgers. Flappy is a small, mom and pop restaurant near the Grand Parkway and Highland Knolls. Expect light and fluffy hamburger buns and delicious sauces. I ordered the habacado burger. Very tasty, I would definitely order another one in the future. My wife had the cheesesteak and enjoyed her sandwich. Our food was brought to the table with minimal wait. Flappy has a full menu with many burger options, chicken sandwiches (listed as burgers , wings, loaded fries, smoothies and funnel cakes. The one thing I didn 't like was the pricing. $8.49 for a basic burger is not bad for a large burger, but I do not know if the burger I had justified a $2.50 additional charge for the delicious sauce and avocado. I will need to try the basic burger to compare. The turbo burger sounds like two sandwiches in one (burger and cheesesteak , but is a hefty $16! I noticed that my receipt had a different price for the cheesesteak than what was shown on the wall menu. Yelp menu shows the correct price, but the Flappy website shows the old price as well. Hopefully these are just growing pains that will be smoothed-out in the future. Anyway, Flappy 's is near my home and we will return to try something else next time. It 's nice to have great food that you don 't have to drive far for.
I enjoyed the Mirch Masala Philly Steak and Mirch Masala fries! The masala adds an Indian twist that's not too spicy. The portion sizes are large and justify the prices.
