Contribuisci feedbackA great stumbled upon find in downtown Kelowna! _Five of us were seated without a reservation looking like a bunch of messy skibums after a full day at Big
This is a great little Neopolitan pizza place in downtown Kelowna.
THIS IS LOCATED ON THE 2ND FLOOR WITH ONLY STAIR ACCESS__Actually, we would have loved to try this place but I made a reservation 3 weeks before arriving
Perfect for family, best pizza I've had in a long time. Pizza was sooo good -- crust was awesome. Kid friendly. Great service.
I have to preface my review by saying, like all reviews, everything has to be taken in perspective. If you haven't been to Italy and if you've never lived in a large, cosmopolitan city, you perhaps have never had a great Italian food experience and perhaps you're one of the reviewers who found this place to be great. I mean if you compare it to frozen pizza or Domino's, then yes, it's pretty good. However, I am fortunate to have been to Italy twice (2 of the best trips I've ever had by the way) and I live in Vancouver BC, a city renowned for our many great restaurants, including several spectacular Italian ones (Cioppinos and La Quercia are just a couple to check out if you're ever in Vancouver), so I set the bar high when I go out for Italian food.I can't help notice how utterly dated this restaurant's approach is to every aspect of their offering. The first thing I notice is how bland their drink menu is. We are in a craft beer evolution in BC, yet they only have a few very typical, non-craft beer selections. I really feel in this day and age, a few interesting beers would be of great service to people. And the wine list is even less inspired. Again, no imagination.Onto the food then. After reading all the positive Trip Advisor reviews, I had moderately high hopes, but both my wife and I were quite let down with the very average pizza's that came to our table. Too salty, not fresh toppings, no inspiration! Only saving grace was that the crust itself was fairly good (the most important part of any pizza), but still, nothing noteworthy. I will say the service was fine though.Save your money and go elsewhere, unless you want 1970's inspired food that has changed with the times and upped their game to compete with newer, better restaurants who cook with passion.
