Mary Brown's - Kelowna

A little dirty bird lottery. I love roasted chicken. The first visit was great. Fresh and non-greasy. Next, a little fat. 3. pretty fat. Only 2 decisions in the whole city for fried chicken (that is not in a gas station) and that is #2 Kelowna is usually somewhat worse than other places in total. Just my observation. Maybe it's a tourist city, although the winter is all locals so.... not safe, but its generally a cut under Vancouver, for example.

Price point is fair, food comes well prepared every time we left and it is not excessively fat. We had no problems trying Mary Browns.

It's the first and only time I tried Mary Brown's chicken. The chicken could have been crispy, here and there it was soggy. The wing had great feathers on it. The Koleslawin was like soup. It tasted old and the time I squeezed out the excess dressing wasn't much left. The service average, the store floor could have used a sweep.

The service was good, and the food was better than most I've been to. I enjoyed the chicken. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.
