The service is terrible. I got white fried rice ?? I had to put soy sauce to mimic what I was expecting and it was useless. After many years visiting this place, I won’t be returning.
This place doesn’t look like much. In fact, a newer and more hip Thai street food restaurant opened across the street, and you’re probably more likely to want to check that out. Meanwhile, “Best of” awards from the early 2000’s sit dusty on the walls of Penang.Though they may be struggling to stay relevant, Penang still serves what I believe to be the best Thai food in the county. Everything I’ve had from the menu has been great. It’s authentic and they care about the quality they serve to you.
We were very disappointed by this restaurant. My friend I used to go to Penang when they were in Buford. After they sold the Buford location, we following them to Kennesaw location. And we are there many times. The food service here is amazing back then. But It’s been few years we haven’t been there. We went there couple of days ago. And the food is so bad. the roti canai, the curry was like a water. The curry Sayur taste was so bad, the curry was so dark thin, watery. We ordered the noodle dish, it was too salty. It seems like ownership has changed and cook as well. We really missed the good food of original panang.
Apparently this place had excellent food. But our experience was horrible. The roti Kani was so horrible. I would never go back again. The fried rice was not bad but everything was horrible. Pennage is Malaysia and they never made it . Sad to say it I would never go again. The hostess was pleasant.
I love the food here because it makes me feel like close to home.I love asam laksa when I growing up is the noodle serve in a fish broth soup and a bit sour from the tamarind. It has cucumber, onions, and pineapples. The owners are from Penang, Malaysia, they know how to cook the asam laksa.Very good Malaysian foods offer in this restaurant.Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian dishesKid-friendliness: It is a family restaurantParking: The restaurant has it own parking.
