Joe's Barbecue - Kent

I've never had anything here that wasn't delicious. Today, I tried the chili, and it's absolutely amazing—10/10! Great job, Joe! I can't wait to pair it with a meatloaf sandwich.

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly. The barbecue is the best I've tasted in Ohio. I live in Boardman, which is about a 45-minute drive away, but the trip is absolutely worth it. The turkey is exceptional!

We were visiting our kids in Ravenna and decided to stop by this restaurant after our son raved about the food. I ordered the brisket burger while the rest of the group opted for brisket sandwiches. We also shared some banana pudding, potato salad, and mac and cheese. The brisket burger was outstanding, and the banana pudding was even better! I loved it so much that I had to order a second serving to take home. The BBQ sauce was among the best I've ever tasted. I only wish I could have taken some of that delicious food back to Utah with us. The service was incredibly friendly and prompt. You definitely need to stop by and experience it for yourself!

O...M...G!!!! Why did it take us so long to try Joe's BBQ? Don't wait like we did. The BEST brisket and ribs we've ever had. Can't wait to try the meatloaf sandwich. My husband has his eye on the chicken. Friendly staff, great service. Joe, you've made us regulars for sure!

Awesome side of the road bbq. The pulled pork and brisket are melt in your mouth awesome. I haven't tried the sides but I look forward to doing so in the future. Get there early as they only sell until they run out.
