Starbucks Coffee Company - Kingston

I have mostly had great experiences at this Starbucks until very recently. Tonight someone took my order through the drive through who didn’t speak English very well. They did try to repeat my order back to me, and say the word “decaf”, so I assumed the order was taken correctly. I believe that the same person who took my order made my drink. It didn’t say “decaf” on the order sticker so I asked the lady (who was an excellent long-term employee, not the same person who took the order or made the drink) if it was in fact decaf. She asked the guy who took my order/made the drink if it was decaf and he said “no”. She dumped that one and he made me another (same guy made it a second time). I drank half of the new drink thinking it was decaf but it was not. I have a health condition and am not supposed to have any caffeine. I couldn’t believe the guy, who took my order and made it wrong once made it caffeinated again!! Whatever his situation is, someone who doesn’t speak English well enough to understand these things, or can’t pay attention to basic things like this is a liability to Starbucks’ typical excellent customer service. I am really disappointed and it seems Starbucks’ hiring practices are not what they used to be. Incidentally this is the third time in a row that I’ve ordered a decaf and had it made full caffeine (but usually people have it correctly made decaf after the error is pointed out).Dietary restrictions: Needed decaffeinated drinks.

Super quick and efficient! This place is always busy and fully occupied so seating can be an issue but that’s out of their control!

My visit to Starbucks was wonderful! The cozy atmosphere and the smell of fresh coffee brewing made for a great experience. The baristas were friendly and made sure my order was perfect. I loved my caramel macchiato, made just the way I like it. The pastries were also delicious, especially the flaky croissant. Starbucks always delivers with their consistent quality. It's a perfect place to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a relaxing setting.

This location is awesome. The staff are fantastic. They’re very friendly and helpful. My drinks are always perfect. Thank you to the baristas here for being so excellent!There’s plenty of seating inside and out. There’s a small patio if you want to sit outside.Parking: There’s seven regular spaces and one accessible space to park. If it’s busy it can be hard to get a spot.

This was the dirtiest restroom I've encountered at Starbucks so far. With around 8 employees present, it's surprising that no one was cleaning it. There were wasps also flying around, which made me reconsider buying any food. It's puzzling that there were no apparent hygiene concerns.
