Today our second time was to eat here. Our waitress was polite, knowledgeable and gave us great service. I wish I looked after what her name was so that we could give her a scream. She also fills your coffee cup up and I told her that is rarer, then you would think. The food was excellent! Four different meals made everything perfect. Portions are generous, restaurant clean and welcoming. We had three different desserts and all were excellent. We live over 1 hour away, but if we have shops in Kingston, this will be our Go to Restaurant. Thanks for the awesone expérience.
I think this is the most authentic English pub in Kingston. The ambience and decor is simply beautiful and the food is amazing! My favorites are the fishermen's cake, which is like a shepherd cake, but with fish and it's so delicious, and of course, the fish and chips. There are Sunday specials where you can get any type of fish with chips for 2 for $19.99 that really fab. My partner and I like to get the halibut, it's really great. This is such a cozy place with great food and great service, I definitely highly recommend!
Loved this family restaurant! Good service and great food at reasonable prices. I had the special of the night which was a large piece of beer battered cod with coleslaw and fries. It was delicious! We were a party of 7 and everyone loved their food. Definite plans to go again!
Had the Haddock and Chips and my mother had a burger. Fish was excellent and the chips are homemade. My mother loved the burger and said it tasted like it was homemade as well. Excellent service too. Only criticism is the glass of Pepsi was a little small, though I'm sure refills would have been no problem.
