The menu has been significantly reduced, no longer featuring the funky brown paper design, now opting for a cheaper laminated look. It now resembles a suburban milk bar, offering egg and bacon rolls and mediocre coffee. I paid $25 for a very small bowl of Bircher muesli and was left disappointed. It's a shame because I used to enjoy this place.
After waiting for 45 minutes, we left without having breakfast because our order was not ready. The restaurant was not busy, but they did not apologize for the delay and still charged us for our coffee. As a local, I will not be returning to this establishment.
After trying and failing to park for another cafe, we stumbled onto this little gem. The ceiling was festooned with greenery, giving the place a tranquil feel. Coffees were excellent, as was the spanakopita, which was superb. Service was welcoming and friendly.
Our family had breakfast here and we really enjoyed our food, drinks and the setting. The food was beautifully presented, novel and tasty. We had the salmon eggs and the cauliflower wrap. My kids also loved their breaky roll and pancakes. Could not have asked for better.
I would like to be able to rate the coffee and the food but when a waitress walks past 3 times without acknowledging our presence or taking our order it’s a bit difficult too!
