While DTF's dumplings are also handmade, these have a different quality that really stands out. They remind me of the meals my aunt would prepare for me when I returned home from school in Nanjing. The place is super clean and straightforward, without any unnecessary frills. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer more cold vegetable dishes, like Zhou or Chinese pickles as side options. Those are just some things I often find myself missing.
This restaurant offers excellent value for its dumplings, which can be enjoyed fried, steamed, or boiled. Tucked away in a strip mall, the menu may be limited, but the dumplings truly take center stage. I highly recommend trying the pork, shrimp, and chives dumplings, as well as the wonton soup and zhajiangmian.
Delicious dumplings. Food taste great and lady is very kind. I got steamed lamb dumplings and pork with cabbage pot stickers both were delicious. Nice decorations and very welcoming.Food: 5/5
After asking three or four times to change the dish, she finally suggested exchanging it for pork cabbage dumplings. At that point, we just wanted to eat and leave, so we agreed. However, when the waiter brought over pot stickers instead, I was frustrated, as they weren’t what we were offered. They seemed to contain pork and corn or something like that. We decided to let it go. After our meal, we went up to the counter to pay the bill. I swiped my card and opted for a $0 tip. To my disbelief, she grabbed my hand and asked why I didn’t leave a tip, trying to reverse the transaction. I told her that this was the worst service I've ever experienced and questioned why she thought she deserved a tip. I couldn’t believe she literally grabbed my hand and pressured me about the tip. She even said, “If you can’t afford it, don’t come here.” No, I can’t afford to make my kids sick! I will never return, and I’m warning all my friends and anyone who will listen: DON’T GO THERE. If you do, be prepared to leave a tip, or you might end up being yelled at.
Lamb dumplings were good, but beef noodles were terrible. Favorless broth and noodles, beef tasted ok but sliced very thin and only had a few pieces.Food: 3/5
