Very small premises where you need to park at the building a couple of doors down. Always one or two couples eating in the restaurant but it is mostly take away. Find the quality to be above average. Give it a try.
Stopped in for lunch very tasty and fresh. In and out quickly. Definitely going back. My new little lunch spot when working in the k/w area for sure.
The atmosphere here is not the best but the food is good. I recommend the beef satay and the singapore noodle dish. Both are very good. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are a good size. Be sure to come hungry.
After an afternoon of Comradeship at the local Legion, it seemed like a good time to take home some Chinese food. We decided to stop at a place I frequented many years ago, to see if they still earn their good reputation. On most counts, they are still impressive. Freshness of the product, speed of preparation, serving sizes, and price all get top marks.Just two disappointments I'll get to later.Judy and I chose to split three combos, (7,11, and 13), which provided nice-sized servings of a good variety of Sing Lee's offerings. Veg Lo Mein, Sweet & Sour Pork, Lemon Chicken all get top marks from us both. I would have preferred spring rolls to egg rolls, but I did not want to ask when the menu clearly requested me not to so do.The disappointing part was the two breaded items. The Breaded shrimp, and Breaded chicken balls were just standard food court servings of breading with a small shrimp or piece of chicken well-hidden inside. Unfortunate they have had to compromise their quality on these two items, but at least the overall price point still represents a very good value. The cost of this Saturday afternoon snack, (of which we have enough leftover for Sunday lunch) was just over $25.00 - good buy for the quantity and (mostly) quality.Overall, I'd stop at Sing Lee anytime for take-away. There are some tables for those who choose to stay, but the business is clearly oriented (sorry) to takeout.
Stopped in today for a quick lunch. There aren't very many tables in this smallish restaurant (maybe 9-10), but I was able to be seated immediately. There were several groups of 2,3 or 4 at other tables. I ordered the lemon chicken combo, with veggie fried rice and an egg roll. The food came quickly and was prepared nicely. It was also a bargain, at just over $7 including the tax.I'll be back the next time I'm in town.
