The Mere Golf Resort & Spa - Knutsford

Overall, the evening was enjoyable with good ambience and service. The only downside was that my reservation made through Open Table was not registered at Mere. Luckily, there was an empty table available. It's unclear whose mistake it was, Mere or Open Table.

We visited a restaurant with a new menu where the staff made sure to get feedback and ensure everything was perfect. They were passionate about their work and it showed in their polite, attentive, and professional service. The pianist added to the ambiance, creating a relaxing atmosphere for our evening. The food was excellent, with each of us trying different dishes for starters, mains, and desserts, all of which were outstanding. We had a perfect evening and would definitely return without hesitation.

I want to start by saying that I am not a fan of golf. I do not have much interest in it and it's just not my thing. I don't want to criticize it, but it's not something I enjoy.

The food was exceptional. Each of the three of us ordered different items for our starter, main course, and dessert, and all were exquisite. I couldn't find any faults with the evening and would not hesitate to dine there again.
