We decided to take the train as a day trip from ruedesheim to koblenz. we had a good walk and saw where the rivers meet rhein and mosel. in the park along the Rhine there was a bierfestival. there have been bier from many countries, but we did not see any British beer. we thought in the chestolon cafe as a snack. one of us had a toast hawaii, the other had a pancake with bananas and honey (scrut), accompanied by a fanta, and one wein. afterwards we had apple strudel with cream and ice, again srumptious and a coffee. this is another place where we would return to koblenz!
