Was to Tasting Days at Salon. It was a great pleasure. Service was top with the most sweet and friendly host cabinet. In addition, really cozy frames with white duge and vivid stearin light. The food was also delicious. Bottomsolid and tasty without we were completely up rings with good wine slogans. We were very satisfied after 3 dishes. A really good experience and do not look past again another time.
I had ordered table for lunch Thursday the 10/8-2023. I have previously eaten at Red (Claus Christensen) when he had Restaurant Gammel Mønt in Møntergade and now I had to try his signature Dolphin at Salon in Bredgade. I have great respect for Claus' work, craftsmanship and his food style. Well arrived I will be shown to the table and asked Do you drink water with or without bubbles, I respond without and there will be water on the table. I know it seems many places gradually; but I had bad opportunity to answer that I did not want water if I would. The water is invoiced to DKK 50 per person without being informed by order. I know that it is semenvans in many other countries to pay a smaller amount of cover to sit at a table and get bread and water, and it has now also snowed into the home. I ordered a glass of Charly Nicolle Chablis 1er cru and dolphin (baked spikehvar, Danish black lobsters, spinach lobsterbisque). In order to start with the wine, I felt that the immersion was to the nearest side (see picture where I have not yet drunk of the glass). The wine was as expected and I could now enjoy it, the water and the warm bread and cold butter. Claus style is great taste and no frioms, so also by the bread. A well baked bread without kernels, malt or other unnecessaryness. After a little time, the dolphin (see picture) and I cannot agree with myself if the fish might be a bit under salted but along with the delicious beesque tasted it wonderfully. Clear well-defined taste and a fish that was still juicy and delicious. What is not in the menu card is that there is also a little salmon in the right to give a little taste and bind the puff together and the combination of pigs, lobster and salmon is not bad. I didn't think I could see Claus himself today; but his other chefs cleared the task fine, unfortunately it draws a little nearer wine a bit down in the overall experience.
Salon is exactly what it publishers to be. Nothing twisted at all. The prices are one of the top.
Fantasiic service, food and wine in exceptional surroundings. Bravo!
