Contribuisci feedbackWhat I ordered: <br/ Asparagus Tempura Roll : If you know me you know how much I love my sushi. Sticking to basics with this asparagus tempura roll, served with a side of wasabi mayo. Not a bad preparation, but have definitely had better before. <br/ ⠀⠀<br/ ⠀⠀<br/ Pan Fried Vegetable Gyoza : Juicy on the inside, crispy and golden brown on the outside, this pan fried dumpling is a great appetizer option. Pair it with their drool worthy chili oil some of the best I’ve had!<br/ ⠀⠀⠀<br/ <br/ Firecracker Rice with Vegetables in Chili Black Bean Sauce : A medley of vegetables in chili black bean sauce pairs perfectly with their Firecracker Rice tossed in their MUST TRY chili oil. The combination sounds spicy but was actually great blend of subtle Asian flavors. ⠀<br/ ⠀⠀⠀<br/ ⠀<br/ Jade Cranberry Kiss : Jade muddled basil, star anise, black pepper, sea salt and lime. Not overtly sweet and Flavour Ed perfectly with strong hints of basil. Cranberry Kiss a simple cranberry juice with mint and lime juice. A great option for those craving a sweet drink. <br/ <br/ Tip: Book through @Eazydiner and get one mocktail free per person.

Located on main hill road, House of Mandarin is hard to miss, The food at House of Mandarin—it lives up to its promise of ‘So Chinese!’ I had visited the restaurant to try their limited time special Chinese New Year menu which will be served till 11 February. This menu has some handpicked dishes which are not available in the regular one. From the Chinese New Year menu, I loved the Wild Mushrrom Dumpling, Fujian Fried Rice with black mushroom, freshwater chestnut asparagus, and the classic roast chicken wit pok choy, black mushroom oyster sauce. The regular menu options are nicely balanced for both vegetarians and nonvegetarians. From the regular menu, my favorites are Spicy Crabmeat Soup, Aromatic Crispy Duck, Crispy Prawn Cheung Fun, Truffle and Eddame Dumpling and the Pink Rice Avocado Roll. <br/ <br/ The overall service was excellent and the suggestions made by the staff wre on point. They were attentive and proactive.

The Sassy Spoon has given way to this chic Chinese restaurant from the same group spearheaded by Rachel Goenka. The simple but elegant décor exudes an old-world charm that is instantly comforting. The menu showcases contemporary Chinese food. The attractive and well-lit bar at the farthest end is hard to miss. The menu is varied with ample vegetarian options as well. The clean flavours and fresh ingredients win you over instantly. No dishes here are doused with sauces or unnecessary additives.
