Papalani Gelato Poipu Shopping Village

AMAZING! This gelato should die! It was so creamy and tasteful and so many options that all our tastes fit. We went to another popular place on the first day and it did not compare. Papalanis Gelato is another worldly! We came again 8 nights of our trip. The owner had laughed and entertained my whole party last night. This was a highlight of our stay and is not to be missed!

BEST TREAT SHOP ON THE ISLAND (and I have come to Kauai for decades!! I've eaten more than my weight in Gelato throughout Italy and Europe and can honestly say that's the best I've ever tasted since I've been there! When I went to the store, it smells heavenly (they have made fresh waffles! . So many flavors to choose and it was very hard to choose from the visual eyes candy, so that I am on three, in the waffle cone natural: the Mac Nut butter, the Hawaiian cheesecake, and the Pistachio Ricotta. I don't think my vocabulary is big enough to describe the levels of taste explosion sent from my mouth to my brain! Super smooth and creamy and you can say it was fresh! I received so much aloha from the owner during my visit. Needless to say, not only was it worth waiting, but I will undoubtedly be back tomorrow to try more flavors!!

Delicious Gelato. Shop owners are charismatic to talk fun and constantly create new flavors of genuine ingredients. They are very passionate about their work, and it shows in their products. Very recommended if you are in the Poipu beach area.

Delicious! They had many dairy free flavors of gelato and they were sooo good! The homemade waffles cones were so yummy. The owners were very friendly as well. Don?t cheat yourself. Get two scoops!

Fantastic gelato and sorbetto the lemon sorbetto and the salt ponds gelato are not to be missed! The waffle cones are fresh made in house, and delicious. The service was fast and friendly, even with our large and somewhat indecisive group of kiddos. Highly recommend!
