The omlet with tomatoes had about 10 tablespoons of mayonnaise inside we did not eat it. The orange juice was clearly watered down witch they denied but since the has also included delicious oranges on the plate there really was no doubt. We did not try to make them change it, and did not try to not pay, but they asked why we did not drink it. I guess there is a reason this place was empty besides us. The price was expensive for India, especially when looking at the quality. If they had just given ma a plain toast with egg and avocado and a orange juice as on menu it would have been 4 stars because the place was beautiful!
An amazing place to have a great cup of coffee while appreciating art or reading a book. This cafe is situated at the jew town road very close to the Matancherry palace and is beautiful. Every corner has art on display and you'll be mesmerized by the varied art forms. There's wall graffiti, paintings, installations, handicrafts and much more. There's even a traditional sewing machine on display!!! The food is delicious and the staff is super courteous too.
We wanted to eat something light so we had the grilled chicken sandwich and the club Sandwich, both were amazing !! The tomato cheese sandwich is to be forgotten, nothing special. They made all sandwiches non spicy for our children. Definitely a place to go if you're in the neighbourhood.
The Classic Art Cafe at Mattancherry is an art and antique lovers paradise serving extremely good veg and non-veg burgers, sandwiches, toasts, coffee, tea, fresh juices, milk shakes, desserts etc. What attracted me is the collection of murals, antiques, paintings etc and the way they are properly maintaining it. The service extended by the staff was excellent. Nice art gallery cum cafe to spend time while having our favorite burger or sandwich or just masala tea or espresso coffee.
We were 4 of us. We ordered 4 things. A burger, pasta, club sandwich and tuna sandwich. Each came with a gap of 15 minutes. So by the time the second persons food came, the first was done with lunch. The fourth persons food came more than 1 hr after we ordered. When we told the people, that this is not the way to serve, they just started arguing. Illogically. Maybe I wud give it a better rating if the service was better. Tuna sandwich was terrible. Rest of food was good
