Mamma Dona's - KYNETON

The only reason I 'm not giving 5 stars is that I didn 't have a main. This is a large cafe with plenty of seating, and two enormous comfortable couches. The coffe is excellent. The pastry selection is modest, but the quality very good. The menu is Italian based, and as at December '18 consists of items such as Prawn Risotto, Lamb Rack, Gnocchi Pesto and the old favourite, Lasagna. Wine and beer is also available.

Lovely food and friendly service. We’ve been here 3 times, food is home made Italian. The arancini is divine and Mum said the Chicken Parma is the best she has ever had. We have also dropped by for hot chocolate and milk shakes after school. Lovely atmosphere, comfy couches. Do yourself a favour and try this hidden gem!

Dropped in for lunch on the way to a client meeting and went back again for dinner. Food was amazing and well priced. The service was impressive as the waitress always ensures my glass was full. The owners came out and made me feel very comfortable. Amazing atmosphere.

We had a lovely meal here. I had the gnocchi which melted in your mouth, so yum! My husband had the spaghetti bolognese which he loved too. Home made noodles. Garlic bread was fantastic. We both finished with some gelato, classic lemon for him and fig maspone for me. So good. We enjoyed every mouthful.

We have been a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. Especially delicious was the home made gnocchi.
