They really go out their way to make you feel comfortable, even if you are Japanese limited, they will still recommend and show you what is nice to eat in their shop. Ramen is beautiful and the sides are phenomenal! Huge shrimps! We came during the corona period, they also practice safe physical distancing measures!
Embedded in this noodle shop right in front of the Fushimi-Inari Station. One of the best noodles and service I had in Kyoto. I went back after I visited the screams.
A gem right in the middle of a touristy spot. Just the right stop to have a reasonably price ramen tsukemen before heading to Fushimi Inari-taisha 伏見稲荷大社 and the trail to walk up to the top of Mt Inari. Great service made even greater with a deliciously thick chicken soup base and healthy chunks of chicken meat and vegetables. Homemade noodles is fantastic. No pork in the menu, but be sure to ask the owner beforehand.
Our favorite place to eat in Kyoto! Delicious, fairly priced, friendly service, nice local decor and even instructions for foreigners! We really loved it here.
We ordered ramen (850 Yen) and tsukemen (950 Yen), both with seasoned egg. It was quite delicious and had especially big portions of meat and noodles for the tsukemen. The broth was a bit on the saltier side for both dishes, however. I liked the fact that they had a pamphlet showing customers how to properly eat tsukemen, ramen, and its seasoning. The staff were also friendly. It was a great experience!
