L'orchidee - La Ciotat

Restaurant L’Orchidee is inside the Hotel Miramar (although dinners are also served on the boardwalk patio.. and run by the same people that run the hotel. (Which is also where we stayed and I highly recommend staying here too.. Also reviewed here on Trip Avisor.. This Mom and Pop business. The Husband is the chef.. – A fantastic Chef! WOW! – one of the best meals we had on our holiday in La Ciotat! This not a showy restaurant – It could even use a face lift.. BUT... This is a Fantastic culinary experience! The restaurant and the food is so worthy of being shared ! As we enjoyed our meal.. we saw more and more people slowing filing in… eventually filling up. Well, this should let the secret out to the English speaking travelers visiting La Ciotat! The locals are their regulars, for a good reason. I completely enjoyed the Fois Gras and the fish.. which changes with the season.. Do NOT skip dessert. You wont be able to get enough of the Millefeuille au chocolat! Pure decadence! The wine list is small, but a perfectly rounded list.. Only good wines, priced fairly and many varietals to choose from! Nice job! I look forward to returning to La Ciotat, largely because of your hospitality and everything that you offer! Keep up all of your hard work!

Very warm and excellent restaurant! We had a very good time with the family. The tiramisu falls

Good menu has 17 euros per week. dessert flat entrance. Salad of small octopus garlic parsley. reddish flat with oven floor and ratatouille. dessert tiramisu. the meal was good the pleasant setting with a beautiful view of the sea, the service also. Only the tiramisu was a little too liquid at the bottom. Leger misses the waitress' smile.

The place is pleasant and fresh inside. meals are good despite the small amount served there. the service was very long especially for the business of lambda and believe that there is a surplus of drinks that can be consumed meat menus.

Very good kitchen, pleasant atmosphere, service is well insured, sea view and to crown the all prices frankly correct! Superb experience
