That was my first time there, and it was a very positive experience. everyone we met was outraged and friendly. the owner came by and greeted us at our table and to see how everything was. they do not see in many restaurants. concerning eating, it was lunchtime and since they did not have lunch, I ordered a child meal with chicken strips and Mac cheese. of course it was tasty and just the right portion. I even got my cookies from the cash register when we checked out. my daughter ordered a cheeseburger and pommes and it was super juicy and looked great, the only problem is not bad that it was huge and she could only finish half of it. when we checked out, the owner was on the theke, so we had to visit with him a lot more and he was really open to ideas suggestions and answered some questions we had about the menu. all in all it was a good experience and we will be back.

The food was pretty good, their shrimp is what I had and I really enjoyed it. Their banana pudding is also very good. We had a few issues with the order, but it was small and they fixed it quickly and were very nice. Will definitely go back later!

First timer today. Food was a little pricy 13 burgers but was tasty! Fries tasted room temperature. Very cute surroundings. They've done a great job redoing this long vacant space.

Oh my God. I hate using the lord's name in vain but if his name represents everything that is good in the world. Then I am using it in the right manner. I cannot express how delicious the food is or how kind and courteous the employees are. If you like delicious homemade country food this will be your place. Because it is our place now. Kudo's to the owners of The Wooden Spoon. P.S. Sorry no pictures, we ate the food that fast. Lol

Great food and dessert! Friendly staff and made to order food that came quickly to the table. Bonus is that it is close to the house! Thanks!
