I always have oysters, which are the best you will find anywhere. It's not cheap, but good food rarely is. A rare example of authentic non-chain France.
How this brasserie is languishing at 30/121 in La Roche is beyond me. The new management have sorted the problems and it serves food that is very good brasserie quality and nowadays it is safer to book if you want to get in. Certainly this is essential at the weekend. Being nearly a local these days I doubt you will do better in the town
I went three times, 1st time with my boyfriend and second with my mum, third with my sister. I suggest taking a menu. 23€ or 29€ per person; starter/ main course and dessert. It is worth it. At lunch they also have another menu 17€ starter/main course/ dessert. The same price as my salmon tartar. As regarding to service, they were always busy (I went twice for dinner and once for lunch). So waiters don't have much time. (I think they must be understaffed). There where even waiters who were running (Could be a danger to staff and clients). Besides that, our waiter was kind and had a smile. The quality of the food is what you get for the price. Not excellent but not bad. Just right. The reason why i went a few times, and will still go again.
1st time at Le Clem for dinner. Variety of Menu for everyone. Alexandra was professional friendly. We sat outside on a beautiful evening. Have patience it take time for your dinner. Although LeClem was not full during the week, we still made reservation for outside seating. Amex is not accepted as many restaurant in Europe. Good value, Good food nice friendly service. Few blocks from Napoleon Place if you can not find parking on the street there is a parking garage two blocks next to a hotel.
Brasserie in town centre; Easy access for wheelchairs with lift to toilets on 1st. floor. Traditional brasserie dishes. Friendly and efficient waiters. Prices are reasonable at around 25€ per person for main dish, café gourmand and wine (50cL rosé de Mareuil). Our first visit since the restaurant has been modernized. Excellent impression.
