I wanted to get 2 pans ? of the paella but my friends wanted plain rice to go with the Sinigang na Hipon. They eventually concluded that the paella still paired well with their sinigang. The Campeador was delicious as well it’s fried liempo with bagoong on a bed of pinoy style grilled eggplant . Ambience 3 stars. forgot to take a photo of the restaurant lol. It gets noisy fortunately we were seated somewhere a little secluded. The furnishings look a little worn, don’t know if that was deliberate or by design.Service 5 stars. Very attentive staff who kept pushing their specials. At least they know what stuff is worth ordering.
Filipino and Spanish culture have always been so close to each other. So it is not a surprise that the same goes for their cuisine as well. And El Corazon gives that to us, the mix of Filipino and Spanish cuisine. You might find the names a bit intriguing since most of them are Spanish but it has the taste of Filipino dishes that we all love. And of course, some of our local favorites as well.
The food is surprisingly good for a mall restaurant. Good quality, ample servings, and great value for money. Great fusion of Spanish and Filipino cuisine.
Whenever we’re around BGC we make sure to dine in this place! Great food and service! Must try: daing na bangus laing with bagnet grilled pusit Great value for money! Wide selections to choose from and cozy ambience!!!
This restaurant is a mix of Spanish and Filipino cuisine. The service was pretty good and food was tasty. My favourite was the scallops. The paella was alright. The fish balls and the veggies with sauce over the top (I forgot the names of the dishes) are standard Filipino dishes they were yum.
