I stopped a couple of weeks. they are only open for breakfast and lunch karray’s is located in one val verde place (a shopping center in the southwest corner of the 96th giles crossing in la vista). karray’s caffe (karray is a portmanteau of the first names of the owners) started in bellevue at 36. 370. they took what was formerly vidlaks caffe. it has been argued that when their loan agreement came for renewal, the renter tried to keep it on them for the new lease agreement. Great breakfast! my wife and I were on the way to kc from a weekend trip in omaha and stayed in this great little restaurant. we sat immediately at the most romantic table at the place, a two table next to the window. the coffee and the icy were delicious. my wife and I ordered both the one potato caserole. a word: amazing! we were both very enthusiastic about the meal and the restaurant staff. we'll be back on our next trip to the north.
Def a no frills place, but eating was plentiful and good breakfast eating. I had pancakes that were huge) and hath browns beautiful and crispy up. my man had the potato caserole, which he polished without complaining. we have breakfast and we'll be back.
I ordered the biscuits and gravy. They were pretty good. They would have been better if the biscuits were soft and fluffy, not crunchy. My husband got the steak and eggs and was very upset! The steak had gristle in every bite. He also complained about it having no flavor at all and not being able to eat it with all the gristle. I don't think we'll be going back.
