The food is made fresh to order and is truly authentic Mexican cuisine. The only downside is the restaurant's appearance, but I personally don't care. In my experience, hole in the wall places often have the best food!
This hidden gem offers delicious Mexican cuisine. The trio of Quesadillas features three different meats, and the Pollo Estilo Puebla chicken was cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, so you may have leftovers. The fried tortilla chips are the best I've ever tasted. There are no lunch specials, so dinner prices apply all day. The atmosphere is simple, service can be a bit slow, but the food will not disappoint.
The chicken was delicious, with a great flavor, and the service was also excellent.
There was an odd smell in the dining area. Not bad, just odd. The food was great. I had a Tortas de milanesa de pollo which was very good. My wife had a chorizo taco and chorizo quesadilla and the taco was awesome and the corn tortillas were amazing and they made a custom bean and cheese burrito for my son because he is a picky eater. Fyi-they did not seem to have air conditioning in the building.
Ok i never write any reviews, but this time i had to, why because their chicken is AMAZING!!!! Yes AMAZING!! It was my first time eating their chiken (my husband told me it was really good) and i absolutely love it. The chiken, the rice, the beans, and the onions with jalapeños... AMAZING!!! We are not from Lafayette we were working on this area and we stop by to get some chicken.. Believe me when i say its amazing, delicious because it is!!! So yes, yes we will stop here when we come back again...
