Anna-capri Diner - Lake Ariel

Absolutely horrible!! Everything that we 1st ordered they didn 't have.... every time we tried to order something the poor waitress had to come back and apologize that they didn 't have it ..for example the fact that they didn 't have hoagie rolls for 3 WEEKS!! finally got something to order amd the waitress wrote it down correctly but the totally incompetent cook staff totally made the 1st order wrong at this point we just left. . I tried to pay for our drinks and leave a tip and the poor waitress was so embarrassed she refused to take anything from me..I did yell back to the cooking staff ty for absolutely running my lunch that I missed today ..I won 't ever recomend this place until the find people who can perform their jobs correctly. .

The food was excellent. Fresh and tasty. We had a great time. Diamond in the rough. It was such a pleasure to support a local business. We will be back!

The food is always delicious! This restaurant has great prices, and everyone is so friendly. I love it here!

We entered with high hopes for a local diner to make our regular stop for a weekly treat for the family. First impression was great with a quaint and friendly diner feel. Our order was taken with no issues and with hopes of the good food (1 appetizer, 1 kids spaghetti and 2 adult entrees with salads). The waitress brought us our drinks and coffee and then we patiently waited for our food. After 15 minutes of sitting alone with no food appearing and not being checked on we began to look around for our waitress. We found her standing around with another waitress and the hostess talking. After waiting another 5 minutes (20 minutes since we ordered) we had to go to the counter to ask about our food. It turns out the order was never put in the computer and the excuse was there was a big table in the back.We ended up paying for the drinks only and leaving. This was a disappointing experience, 35 minutes total in the diner and our food order was not put into the computer and the waitress only coming to the table once. Will not be returning and will tell all friends to be wary of this failure of a diner.

Food is fresh, made to order and to your specs, service is prompt. My husband declared the country-fried steak platter the best in town . The Greek salad is terrific and the pasta fagioli (soup of the day) was excellent. If you haven 't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?
